Hi, I’m Phil the new guy to Cheshire’s Silk 106.9.

Join me weekday mornings from 10, with a look through the morning’s papers – the latest showbiz bits and pieces, plus we’ll keep an eye on what’s happening in and around our area, along with a great mixture of music from the 60s to today. 

There’s also the Retro Lounge from 2pm with 60 minutes of nostalgia, bringing back the memories and you can guess the mystery years too!

A little bit about me....
I’m born and bred in the North West, have worked in radio stations in Liverpool, Chester, Sheffield, Cambridge and now Cheshire... I try to be healthy and go to the gym, but Starbucks is my biggest weakness and the green logo just draws me in... And if you’re buyin the drinks in the local, mine’s a pint!
