On Thursday 11th October, Silk FM picked up a much-coveted gong at the annual Jeruslem Radio Awards, held at the Royal Scholl of the Arts in London. We were recognised for last years 'A Song For Christmas' competion. We invited every school in the Silk FM area to write and record an original Christmas song. Over 42 schools took part, and the top 5 were invited in to the Breakfast Show to introdice their tracks. After 4 days of voting St.Barnabas Primary were crowned winners, netting a top of the range PC for the school.
