Calling all Primary Schools!
Sing Up is the Music Manifesto's National Singing Programme. The aim of the programme is to make sure that singing is at the heart of every primary school child's life. Singing can help with learning, with building a child's confidence and it's also lots of fun! Sing Up believe that singing has the power to change lives and the Sing Up team would like to hear all primary school childrens voices in The Big School Sing Up.
To help raise awareness of the Sing Up programme we are inviting schools to record songs which will then be uploaded onto this website! Some songs will then be picked at random and played on-air for the nation to hear! And even if your song isn’t played, each school that takes part will also receive a special Sing Up certificate.
The Sing Up website has lots of songs for you to choose from, with downloadable audio files and lyrics available free-of-charge, thanks to a special agreement with publishers. To see the list of songs available visit the Sing Up website, register, and then click on 'Song Bank' where all the files are available. More >
